Research resources include: newspapers, township histories, family histories, old plat books, atlases (1897), some Wahpeton High School and NDSCS yearbooks, Richland County Old Settlers Association, Richardson Farm Records (1920-1942), military scrapbooks (Company I, WWII, Korean War), biographies (Essie's story, for example), oral recordings of Richland County history, County cemetery directories, community centennial books. Another good resource is the Leach Library, especially if you are looking for ancestry information as they have access to Ancestry.com.
